Final Chelsea Piers Lease
The Hudson River Park Trust approved the Final Lease with Chelsea Piers on May 19, 2022. A copy of the Final Lease approved by the HRPT Board of Directors that includes new Section 9.3 and Exhibits M and N is available in the links below.
Notice of Public Review of the Proposed Lease for Chelsea Piers
The Trust has commenced the Significant Action public review process for the Proposed Lease for the premises known as Chelsea Piers, including Piers 59, 60, 61 and the Headhouse. A copy of the Proposed Lease and the public notice are available in the links below.
The public comment period runs from February 11, 2022 to April 26, 2022. All written comments must be received at the Trust’s office by 4:00 PM on April 26. Comments should be emailed to chelseapierslease@hrpt.ny.gov.
A public hearing was held on March 22, 2022 from 4:30 PM–6:30 PM. See details here.
The Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex is a 28-acre waterfront sports village. This privately-financed project opened in 1995, transforming several original, but long-neglected, piers into a premier center for recreation and waterfront access.
